This is a large scale work on un stretched canvas using some of the text I created for a commission for the Bankside Hilton, London. I guess I just liked the words and wanted to use them again but without the pressures of a commissioned piece.
"There are monuments to nothing in the creases of some city, hollow statues of swallowed words.
The memories that meant nothing, they become the most important of all"
Dimensions are 200x177cm, stretched dimensions maybe 180x160cm. Mixed media on canvas, 2015.
