Only Yesterday by Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya) was originally released in 1991, but never released in America until now. Completely dubbed in English, the 2015 release feels as contemporary and relevant as it did upon its original release. 

 

We were tasked with updating the existing key art with a more modern title treatment. The end result was a simple yet classic mark that (hopefully) matches the elegance of the film. Along the way we also created some more elaborate logos that we can’t help but show off here as well, even though they ultimately were not the best solution for this particular project.
