The idea behind Ulbricht was to design a luminaire, that based on the latest technology in the field of light-emitting diodes. I wanted to give the illuminant a new form, therefore I placed the lamps as an indirect source of light inside a hemisphere. The internal coating is made of a diffuse material, which reflects 95% of the luminosity. The lenses of the 80 RGB LEDs are sharpened in 45°, whereby the hemisphere is evenly illuminated.
