We were commissioned to make visual identity of a global art movement which was first highlighted in 2015 by American artist and curator Kaloust Guedel with an exhibition titled Excessivist Initiative. "EXCESSIVISTS" express themselves by reflecting and examining the excesses in capitalist systems. Given their diverse backgrounds and genres, these artists work independently and their visions conspicuously converge into a common theme – Excessivism.
 
The idea of the logo is combination of the letters S and the visual dollar sign which has a connection with the idea of the movement. EXCESSIVIST INITIATIVE forges a communal direction to a phenomenon, which reflects society’s attitude towards material values. While millions of people across the globe go on living malnourished and at the edge of survival, these artists examine and reflect the excessively generous use of resources in contemporary circumstances.
