This year we will create several videos explaining the results of scientific research. We work on this project with the Neuron Fund for the Support of Science. It is a modern non-profit organization, which promotes the idea of philanthropists supporting science and research in the Czech Republic.
This first video sums up the results of research done by economist Jan Libich. It explains the retirement system and highlights its potential risks. In the Czech Republic, retirement benefits are paid from collected taxes. With the rapid demographic changes, this system consumes a lot of money. The state needs to borrow additional money and the public debt is growing. Without applying any changes, this system can collapse. In its second part, this video presents a sustainable alternative. We've used minimalist graphics and motion design to enhance understanding of the principles.
