Every year in Upstate New York, sometime between the last leaves of fall and the heavy snow, is a season that has no name. The air is cold and foreboding, and everyone is buckling down for another harsh winter. In this collection of images, I sought to capture the quiet atmosphere of this time of year, just before the snow begins to fall.
