I made a quick selection on my hand and feather and used the color balance to add +30 of blue. Then I slected the inverse of the quick selection of the hand and feather, and used the color balance to add -40 yellow and +40 red to make the background a little more orange. I did this because blue and orange are on opposite sides the color wheel, and would therefore add a natural contrast.
