Window Display for Banana Republic UK
Banana Republic's most prominent store is located on Regents Street across from Liberty of London, situated in one of Europe's busiest shopping districts. For their Spring 2011 collection they implemented a "Garden Party" themed window display. The design called for giant-sized leaf topiaries to rise out of the whimsical garden.
The props were constructed from welded leaf-shaped frames wrapped in mats of faux greenery. The mats were shaped into place and held tight to the frame by cable ties. Wire tethers were used to keep the leaf topiaries upright in the installation.
The display was in place during the Royal Wedding that brought a 7.6% increase in visitors to thefamous shopping district.
