Exploration of Form and Psyche
by Sinem Ören
Kiss me on the Neck is a piece about intimacy, getting pyhsically and emotionally close to a person. I tried to explore the relationship between the solidity of human body and mental boundaries we tend to have while experiencing our own reality. Kiss me on the Neck is a representation of two people who shares similar anxieties and love toward each other but forced to live in the moment of passive waiting.

Internal Void is a piece about the limitless nature of the human soul. I wanted to focus on the idea of how figures can exist in their own boundaries while framing the space they are in, which is the void. The piece talks about the paradoxical relationship of micro and macro. This piece is a visual representation of containing the universe inside as human beings while being surrounded by the universe itself.
