Chanderi is a town of historical importance in Ashoknagar District of the state of Madhya Pradesh in India famous for its Sarees. These chanderi sarees are produced from three kinds of fabric i.e. pure silk,chanderi cotton and silk cotton.

Taking inspiration from the ancient forts motifs are developed that are used in Chanderi Fabrics.
