A series of 50 charcoal, pen, and watercolor drawings focusing on the Brain as a physical container for the knowledge, memories, and experiences of the Mind. No matter how insignificant and fragile they may seem upon observation, these crumbly conglomerations of neurons and glial cells are the containers of our memories, skills and livelihoods, and are the key to that familiar feeling of "me". This series is drawn from observation of whole brain specimens (sheep and dolphin) and microscope slides of various animal brain segments.
