The Conference
The CUCSC (Canadian Undergraduate Computer Science Conference) is a four-day bilingual academic conference aimed at undergraduate students studying computational sciences and related fields. The CUCSC is the largest event of its kind in Canada, attracting young minds from across the country. Participating students will share knowledge of the computational sciences, including but not limited to, mathematics, physics, human computer interaction, artificial intelligence, algorithms, data structures, and software engineering. Alongside student presentations, keynote talks are  given by esteemed professors and industry speakers, exposing students to a breadth of topics.

My Role
I acted as Lead Designer for the 2016 CUCSC, and also assisted the Conference Committee in marketing the event. The conference took place in Vancouver at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in June. Accompanying the updated logo, the deliverables for this event included a new website, sponsorship packages, conference programs, posters, flyers, banners, and branded merchandise such as shirts, tote bags, and notebooks for the attendees. Marketing efforts and the new CUCSC branding was a success as the conference attracted over 50 students from across Canada, as well as leading industry sponsors such as Google and Telus.
