Elizabeth Siddal, poet and painters muse, posed for John Everett Millais for Ophelia painting, by diving in a bath with candles all around to keep the water warmth. In one of the sessions the candles burnt out. She didn't tell the painter in order to not annoy him. Because of this, Elisabeth got an illness that drove her to death.
