My AdobeGenPro Graphic & Illustration course projects

This was my first project in the Adobe Gen. Pro. Graphic and Illustration class. The initial submission are the badges on the top and bottom rows. After receiving feedback from instructors and peers I revised the badges to reflect their recommendations. These are the two rows of badges shown in the middle of the image.
Our assignment for this week was to tell a well known story using just four icons. Although my pumpkin-carriage technically is not an icon because it is a bit too detailed I wanted to see what I could make with some of the basic shapes and drawing tools found in Illustrator.
Our assignment for week 3 was to develop a brand using an image or images and selecting a style of type we felt best matched the message. We then had to place this brand onto a bottle. Finding an image of a bottle that was not under copyright proved limiting in the style available so I used a wine bottle since they seemed to be easy to find and also suited my idea. The name comes from a bearded collie we had for 14 years who was always jumping and walked with a spring in her step.

There are two versions of the brand because my husband and I could not agree on the type face. What do you think?
