An attempt at depicting the helplessness, the poverty and the divide between the rich and the poor in Mumbai, India. As I drew this I remembered the times I turned away from the window.
We tend to harden our hearts to the realities around us because we think one individual can change nothing. We try to not feel, so that we stay sane but why must the ability to feel and sanity be connected?
If I don't care about the people I share this earth with, am I a part of this society, am I human?
