Treaty City Brewing Company is very proud of it’s Limerick Origins. Celebrating Limerick’s historical past I decided to focus on Limerick’s legends. From leader’s in war time, to famous actors, to sporting hero’s; the treaty city brews I have selected have been named after Limerick’s most well-known legends from a variety of backgrounds.
The triple crown element of the brand has both modern day sporting connotations while also referrring to Limerick’s historical past and the war over a triple crown that lead to the siege of Limerick and later to the treaty. The floral sybols of England, Ireland and Scotland refer to this war while also maintaining the sporting connotation.
The colours used in the branding also refer to a regal past while also representing a more contemporary sporting relevance with the colours strong and vivid enought to be visual similar and mindful of sporting club and county colours.
I applied the brand to the bottle, carry case, beer mats and associated accessories using the same or similar elements from the logo. I wanted to ensure that the brand had prominence on label and all associated packaging.
