Initial Web Design Mock-up in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Word
Final Web Design Made in Microsoft Expression Web using HTML and CSS
Initial Proposal

An educational website for those interested in folk stories and world cultures.

Goals

>>>Suitable for small children and interesting enough for adult readers<<<
>>>Easy navigation and simple layouts<<<
>>>Effective display across various browsers<<<
>>>Accessible links and easy-to-read text<<<

Summary

The structure of the site is a simple web structure. I chose this one because it suits the purpose of the site and most, if not all, users are familiar with it. Users can access the different pages from the home page. Links to other pages are also included in the subcategories. The Contact Page contains an E-mail Link.

Final Results

I had included more pages in the original design but then I found them redundant and decided to eliminate them. I decided to trade off some of the design elements for greater accessibility and control. The final project consisted of over 50 pages. Unfortunately, I was not able to publish it. Although I did not accomplish all of my goals, I was glad to create a functional website with a clear and easy-to-understand layout.
Thank you for looking at my project :)
