Clarke Art Consulting is my wife's art consulting business. I was commissioned on a "pro bono" basis to develop a brand for her company. Clarke represents the legacy of her late father James Clarke III. Clarke was a letter carrier by day and prolific fine artist at night, that created extraordinary contemporary works that expose the inner self of man. My inspiration was driven by the privileged of having the opportunity build a relationship with him that brings back to my remembrance the shapes, colors and message of his work. The design is translated into simple mark that incorporates the Clarke name with bold logotype.

MAE 2008-2011: Minority Art Exhibition presented by Clarke Art Consulting. MAE is a catalyst for minority artists to display their work. MAE was also developed as a brand strategy to introduce Clarke in Richmond, Virginia and promote minority artists to art buyers and patrons.
