RedShift Identity & Branding
Identity & Branding project done in an Intermediate Graphic Design course, under the guidance of Mark Stammers. The guidelines of this project included creating an original logotype for a chosen brand, and developing an organizational system to manage the consistent and creative application of the identity to a stationery set including business cards, a letterhead, and a style guide publication. For my brand, I chose Chicago based womenswear brand Redshift, which creates garments and accessories from salvaged materials such as wool and leather. Inspired by the brands complex exploration of material and deconstructivist shapes, I took a similar approach to create original pictorial elements by collaging and scanning different textures, which inspired the final logo and identity of the brand.
