QUOTE POSTER
William Blake
I chose a quote from William Blake, an English poet, painter, and printmaker and one of my inspirations in visual arts. The quote reads: If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is: Infinite. For this particular representation of what is infinite, I used a guilloche, which is an ornament resembling braided or interlaced ribbons. The way they look to me, they seem boundless and never ending and certainly beautiful, thus representing that sense of infinite knowledge.
