While Studying Indian Railway Stations,what was observed that there is no special provision for Mother and child(for breastfeeding , nappy change , baby food and hot water ),the aim was to design a holistic care unit which would provide the mother and child with all the basic necessities that are required while travelling.The baby care unit was thought of as a system intervension wherein the mother while travelling in a train need not  carry anything much for her child,as all the basic requirements would be availble at the major A and B tier railway stations.
