The idea was to create a poster that describes the modern Finnish way of life or the Finnish nationality in the present day. Our prime minister executed a lot of expense cuts regarding the Finnish health care, students and the poor, therefore I felt it’s suitable to create a work with him being pictured as a butcher, ready to cut the country into pieces.

Personal beliefs are usually something that are not seen, something another person might not be able to see. Therefore my approach for the second topic, 'hidden sadness', was to create a poster about losing something valuable, something personal to yourself - religion, personal beliefs or devotion to something, to name a few.
