This serigraph is the fourth installment in a four print series entitled "Endangered Species." My inspiration stemmed from my love of animals and the environment. These posters are meant to bring awareness to the myriad of animals endangered of becoming extinct if something isn't done. Poaching and hunting remain a constant threat for panda's even though there are strict laws in place. Hunters in panda habitats will accidentally kill them. Deforestation and fragmenting of the forests due to roads and railroads reduces the pandas' access to bamboo and mating. It is displayed at the current Purdue president's home from May til October. Read Less
