After doing research in a high pedestrian traffic area, I realized that people are more likely to disobey traffic laws by parks, playgrounds and other common gathering places. gloWALK creates an excepted method of crossing the street mid-block as well as informs motorists when a pedestrian is crossing the street. The raised nature of gloWALK also doubles as a speed bump not allowing motorists to speed in these highly crossed areas.
