PLEXIGLASS / POLISHED AND BRUSHED ALUMINUM

My reflection started with this first intention : design an object with which the costumers will interactt in an original ways in his her daily life. The costumers will experience this interactivity through the movements of the lamp, which can adopt two different forms depending upon its opening angle. This optical effect is accentuated by the choice of the materials: a strucutre in a brushed and polished aluminum and the plastic roto-mouled.

Then;, in order to give a more dynamic and funny touch to my lamp, I also gave to my concept a new dimension to allow for its outdoor use. Indeed the structure in aluminum allows the costumer to carry the lamp around more easily and to install it wherever he/she wants : on a table, in trees or simply on the floor, ground.
