The Year of Being Awesome
Capitalizing on new year's resolutions is a boon to book sales, and to help encourage this at Joseph-Beth, I created an in-store campaign that relied on a wash of bright orange to attract attention, funky black and white graphics to make buying into the typically saccharine self-help genre seem a little more "indie", and some public domain references to Helen Keller to recall that the human intention to improve is authentic, indeed. More colors were introduced for the email advertisements, to help draw attention to the diversity of our offerings, which is a little more necessary without the grand in-store experience.
