Projectfake, found, fantastic has opened for me, a new way of seeing the world. Beinga photographer to me, also means to see things and mysteries of our livesthrough the camera. And I suppose, that working from the very beginning on myphotographs, especially for this topic, I didn’t expect exactly which way tofollow. And now I can bravely say that photographs, that I have producedthrough the year, present my deep imagination, my anxieties, and in some sensethe gift of seeing beauty in places, unnoticed by many people.
This projectdoes not contain only photographs as something tangible, because photographsalso contain a story about chasingplaces, mysteries, feelings. That made me think a lot, about all the"images" visible or not that built my whole project. There is also apiece of myself included in my work as well.
This photographicproject gave me a freedom to express my hidden thoughts. Using different photographic methods I havetried to achieve a fantastic reflection of reality. Those images evoke a little fright in me.Fear, which is as same needed as a feeling of joy and happiness. The onlydifference is, that usually there is something ugly in a deformed worlds likein a work of Joel Peter Witkin; My work is different from his, because I’veadded as much beauty as possible to dangerously disturbing photographs. And howdid I do it?? I believe there is no simple answer, but it definitely representspersonal style and taste which I shape every day.
I havediscovered a magical world full of unreal, illogical situations. In realitythings are too simple sometimes, that’s why I “walk into” the imaginary,surreal land which is totally opposite to what I have to struggle with, everyday. Sounds like escaping from reality, truth or not?? No answer... But aresult of this - is my project: Between reality and fiction.
