This work is displaying a scene of the interaction between the protective dog and the shy woman. Together they are trying to construct a cactus flower that to me symbolizes success and the woman’s ability to tolerate difficult situations. The eyes in this image to me represent the eyes of other people that make the woman nervous and use judgment against her.
