NOM is an intricate, hand-drawn typeface. With each character, I strove to create a completely unique fill, while maintaining overall consistency with density and line weight. The repeating motif of ghosts, diamonds, hexagons, and drips help to strengthen the letters, allowing for a unified style. The letterform shapes are based on the thick, rounded, mono-weight look of Bauhaus Std, yet truly stand on their own as entirely new and fresh forms.
