Consulting as part of a multidisciplinary team of designers, ethnographers and business strategists, I’ve spent the better part of 24 months supporting an internal corporate innovation team to design, prototype and build solutions for a well-known, US-based direct selling company, looking to improve the experience of its users and bolster sales in one of their many international markets.

Grounding the work with field research in 3 cities in Eastern Europe, our small team began to identify common pain-points across 30+ in-home interviews. The analysis of needs resulted in 6 personas and 9 Design Principles with a series of supporting insights that guided our approach to collaboratively developing over 30 viable concepts with our client, their customers and a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
From concept to design, our team continued to work closely with the international team to build buy-in for this new innovation program, while considering the market’s cultural context. A number of deliverables* (listed below) were created throughout the process of research, analysis, concept and design in addition to the personas, principles and concepts.

- current and future state journey models
- the rapid prototyping of specific program solutions
- a five-part concept system with over 15 sub-components
- a comprehensive experience blueprint
- goal-specific workshop activities & assets
- system storyboards
In further support of the final phase of the project that centered around live testing in-market solutions with a small group of users, I managed our team in the development of a series of internal and external visual design assets* (listed below), advised on architectural design and build out of a new facility in Eastern Europe, as well a guidelines for training and launch. I;ve also supported on-going research, documentation and revisions of the program in-market.

- internal ‘vision' video
- brand guide
- customer facing space branding
- prototyped and live-test appropriate solutions
- program handbook
*With the sensitive nature of corporate innovation work, I'm not able to include any visuals of deliverable assets while mainting confidentiality of my client(s). If you're interested in further explanation of any particular area of this project, I'm happy to do my best to give context, but will not be able to share specifics.
