Schlangen Apotheke - poster

I was given an assignment to create a poster for a pharmacy in Nürnberg.
This pharmacy is known as "Snake pharmacy" in the town.
This store has a long history. 1902 founded by Adolf Klinkelin pharmacist who had a passion
for snakes and other reptiles.These animals were studied during his trip to Africa. He showed these animal's preparations
in the pharmacy. The new shop-owners liked to show their past and tradition on a poster in their new interior.

So the poster's topic was the snake venom and anatomy. I must admit that previously

I didn't know anything about the internal structure of snakes.
I must to look for informations, photos in this topic.

And finally here it is the end result. I created by pencil and Ecoline ink.
After that I worked on computer. I tried to adjust in colors and style to the pharmacy's interior design.

The customer were very pleased with the outcome. I hope you will like it too...
