AURORA BOREALIS
Aurora Borealis (Polar light)
Project at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences
Supervised by Prof. Pichler

The task was to choose a topic and to visualize important data of it.
With my topic of the Northern Lights I show different information of light and the auroral zone on a series of posters. This series is created out of a keyvisual which shows in an abstract form the aurora borealis. On top of these keyvisual every poster has two layers of information. One background information, which shows the wavelenght, the height and the geographical area in which the aurora borealis is visible.

As addition there are on the second layer of information the little icons and texts, which explains in a few sentences key points of the aurora borealis. Through this short abstracts you get an idea of what the aurora borealis is and where and when you can see it.

For the presentation I did also create an animation. It shows the movement and color change in an abstract way. It is to underline the fascinating atmosphere of the Aurora Borealis and the beautiful shapes and forms which it creates.
Short Animation, which was an addition during my presentation of the Aurora Borealis poster series.
