Call To Worship

On February 28, 1846, “A number of the citizens of the Town of Jackson assembled at the school house for the purpose of determining the best method of erecting a house for religious worship.”  They voted to erect their church in the ensuing summer and to divide it into 42 shares, each to entitle the owner to one vote.  At the next meeting on March 7, the amount of a note on each share was set at $20.

In January 1951, approximately 40 people met to initiate the formation of the Jackson Community Church in the small town of Jackson, New Hampshire.

Today, the church remains a place for those seeking guidance; finding comfort and receiving fellowship and forgiveness though religious practice.
