Taylor magazine is a monthly publication for the curious creative, the young and young at heart. The primarily Australian readership seeks a magazine that covers intelligent topics, interesting personalities, quirky trends, creativity, connections, fashion, words and music.
 

The brief required cover art as well as the layout and formatting of accompanying pages and articles within. 
Taylor specified that the publication targets men and women aged 16 to 35, who are after a magazine with a contemporary, creative, eccentric, individual and clean look. 

 

For the cover, I took inspiration from the article "Flexing your creative muscle", which tells the reader that even "the most established creative people are practising when they're not at work...This explains in great part why so many great artists and thinkers find joy in a multitude of creative actions." I wanted the cover to be bright, fun, bold and eye-catching and created digital illustrations with a "creative hats" theme for Taylor.
