From the Sea
A series of photographs by Jessie Tyree
As a photographer, I attempt to capture and reflect the beauty I see around me. In researching this project, I became fascinated with the intricacies and subtle beauty found within something as tiny as a seashell. I wanted to glorify these tiny, imperfect sculptures. Nature's beauty can't really be improved upon or fully understood, but it's fun to try, right?
These prints are all taken in 35mm black and white film and printed with matte fiber based paper.
The dust is au naturel.
