The Bird Watch Tower: FUSE

FUSE is a Bird Watch Tower located in a public park between Henry Avenue and Lincoln Drive. The design is focused on a number of environmental and sustainable ideas that aim to create a space that fuses nature with architecture. It was important to design a structure that lightly touches the site and not harm the integrity of the environment at hand. The tower attempts to also address these matters through a series of passive systems throughout the design with indepth explorations of window placement, window depth, and how wind can circulate through the space.
