A Difficult Manifesto:
I am difficult and so are you.
Some are box-tickers and desk-huggers,
Some are file-fillers, dutiful rent payer's, and systematic sweethearts.
Some obtain the ability to be polite in public.
Some live for milestones, neck-ties and money clips.
Well, we are not those people- not once and not ever.
We are your headaches, the chaotic ones, the disruptive bunch.
We are difficult ones.
We are against the grain,
and the administrative neck-pains.
Enthusiastic coffee drinkers and left brain thinkers.
We are the naughty-corner favourites, the los-kop regulars and the chaotic instigators.
We are the extremists, the polarities and the difference.
We are the difference,
we are the difficult ones.
The deathly quiet, obnoxiously loud.
The perfectionist with the perfectly parted hair, or the messy-haired story-tellers who don’t have one care.
We are the advocates for nuisance.

We are the unruly theatrical ones.
The classroom disruptions, the terrifyingly messy, and the annoyingly decpetive.
We are the artsy introverts, the daydreaming doodlers, the question askers.
We are the bad-kids -at-the back bunch.
The OCD perfectionists, the upside down perspectives
and the constant odd one out.

We are the difficult ones. We are graduates of Red and Yellow.
We voluntarily say no to order, but involuntarily speak our minds .
We are the most wicked illustrators,
nouveau film-makers,
ground-breakers, pace-makers and the true game changers.
We are different and unseen, unheard of and uncontainable.
So I stand here tonight, looking at we have done and from where we have come.
Not knowing every individual journey, but knowing we took them together
and we all ended up here: a time of sheer confusion and chaos,
But we love it because that's how we live our lives anyway.
Difficult uproots, and deconstruct.
Difficult goes against the norm and disrupt everything and anything.
Difficult is the spontaneous, impulsive , and the hard-to-contain-type.
Difficult steps out of line, and walks the other way.
Difficult is untraditional, uncompromising, and unbelievable.
We are difficult.
and I stand here tonight, a very proud part of a rather difficult bunch.
