This logo design for the 102nd American Legion National Convention in Phoenix, Arizona went with an unconventional color scheme to get the viewer's mind off of the potential extreme heat of August in Phoenix and think of the unconventional beauty and calm of the desert at twilight.

NALPA was an organization of public relations volunteers at various levels of The American Legion. The old branding used a cartoon eagle with a quill. I went for a more "traditional" seal look but broke it with the oversized NALPA. I incorporated the quill as a nod to the history of the organization and added a lighting bolt to symbolize modern, electronic, media.

This logo was created to celebrate 90 years from the first American Legion Baseball World Series. Since there were a few years during World War II that a World Series wasn't played it was not the 90th playing when this logo was used.

This logo was created for an association of alumni who were recipients of the Samsung, American Legion Scholarship. The oval in the background was a reference to the blue oval used in Samsung's logo at the time.

The American Legion's Operation Comfort Warriors program provides comfort and support items for wounded and recovering servicemembers. The challenge in creating this logo was finding an icon that was common among the five (at the time) branches of service. We chose the dog-tag and a patriotic color scheme.

American Legion Baseball Regional Tournament logos were created for the 8 regions of American Legion Baseball.
