2015 — FIFA Ballon d'Or
Each year the FIFA® Ballon d'Or (TM) trophy, a prestigious individual award, consecrates the football player of the season.
My ambition was to design a three posters series to present the three finalists to FIFA® Ballon d'Or (TM) 2015 trophy.
These posters showcase the personality and the singular style of the three finalists: Cristiano RONALDO, Lionel MESSI and NEYMAR JR. So, duplicated full format photographs illustrate their looks and characteristics movements. Movement is also present through the axial typographic compositions. Typographic choices evoke the personality and the game of each player: piquant for Cristiano RONALDO; subtlety for Lionel MESSI; eccentricity for NEYMAR JR.
For the colors, the used of white brings shine, lightness and readability. Finally, colors of players’ teams are used (Real Madrid and FC Barcelone).
Posters are presented by alphabetical order.
