Meze Restaurant is the result of years of research, visiting the best restaurants around the world, and presents to the public a singular menu with inspiring dishes and a cozy and reserved environment.
After a course of gastronomy and haute cuisine, Chef Henrique Pontes traveled the world to discover flavors and after living revealing experiences and accumulate a vast bibliography, decided to open the Meze, inspired by the professionalism and hard work of the United States, the technical and quality the ingredients of French cuisine, the passion for the food of Italy, the intensity of flavors and spices of North Africa and India, the intuitiveness of Southeast Asia and the brazilian diversity.
The word is found in Iran and all the cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire and comes from the Turkish: taste, flavour, snack, relish.
send message/ Symbology
The decision of a logo without a symbol can become dangerous and present a generic identity and a indirect transmission of the required message to the receiver.
Therefore implicitly present symbols that refer to the main values, creating a unique and strong identity symbol.
Out of the ordinary, of the black and white, like the contemporary cuisine, the meze brand brings in its institutional colors, food representations from the root and the special touch of your spices.
contrast/ Institutional type
The contrast to the Sans Serif types used in the brand, represented by Playfair Display family serifs break stiffness to present the content and cause the impression of something new and detached from the obvious.
The brand is developed based on construction grids and use mathematical proportions to directly send their message to the receiver.
