In 2014 I found myself in a wonderful little thrift store in middle-of-nowhere Atchison, Kansas. There I stumbled upon some very old books, whose pages smelled like and somewhat resembled the cozy skin of our grandmothers. I decided to start a new personal style of art piece, using the book pages as my canvas. I'd hand select a page from my favorite Jane Austin novel, Pride and Prejudice, and draw something over the words using Micron ink pens. These are the two I am most proud of, though they certainly aren't the last I'll do. These are great little pieces to hang around the house or print on things like phone cases (which you can buy on my Society6 account, here).
