TT Games Environment Art Test

Below is a piece concept art I was given for an Art test at TT Games, the task was to get as far as possible with this and to as higher standard as possible within the time limit of a week.

There were polygon limits for all assets as to work as though the assets would be used in game. This was done along side full time work in a week in around 20-25 hours in total.

This included the process or Base meshes, sculpting, retopologising, unwrapping, texturing and setting the scene up for a final render.
Below is the wireframe and a greyscale render of all assets within the scene, this shows the level of detail within each section of the model and how it edheres to the polygon limits set within the task.
Below are the textures for a few of the assets in the scene just to show how the unwraps were in the end and the texture maps used in the creation process
Below is the final render used on the handin, as I tried to get it as close to the concept art as possible. Due to the small amount of time I had to work on this project, if I was to do it again I would swap out some of the opacity maps and make sure there was more difference within the leaves and grass textures to mix up the design a bit more.

The wall could also have been built in a more modular fashion, it was built in pieces for the bottom and the stones on top to allow more manouverability when modelling and positioning the broken wall.
