Wikigod is thephysical transcription of the hypertext source for Wikipedia’sdefinition of God. A hand-typed scroll, using a typewriter containingno ink, is presented atop a long, narrow table. The scroll is nearlysixty feet in length, however, is shown only to the length of the spaceprovided. The table is modular and can be adjusted to fit the space inwhich the piece is presented. Every time the word “God” appears in thecoding, the text is illuminated from below.
