Verona Rinascimentale Corporate Identity
Verona Rinascimentale is the name of an event linked to the world of the historical re-enactment, which takes place in the city of Verona.
The organization required a complete branding, like logo, flayers, posters, letterhead and gadgets.
Inspiration to represent the Italian Renaissance came to me looking at some studies of Leonardo da Vinci about platonic solids. Perfect union between the new approach to classical studies by italian masters, and the new conception of art and science of 1500. The icosahedron is the perfect symbol to convey these ideas.
I wanted to get rid of all the fantasy craps and the heaviness that usually characterize the medieval compositions; it is meant we are talking about renaissance. So, to give a sense of lightness, harmony and rationality to the composition, I chose soft colors and a very light font
