BRIEF

Creare nuove forme di ospitalità in grado di far convivere utenze diverse, di riscattare porzioni di territorio, di introdurre un’idea alta e altra di socialità, in cui la dimensione privata e quella collettiva possano ragionevolmente convivere.

PROGETTO PROJECT

Come primo step è stato definito il concetto di Comunità Innovativa. Dal brainstorming incentrato su questo tema è emersa questa definizione:“Per Comunità Innovativa intendiamo un gruppo eterogeneo di persone legate da tre diverse esigenze: generare un legame tra presente e passato, scambiare conoscenze tra diverse culture e creare un contatto generazionale.”A partire da questa definizione sono scaturiti una serie di esempi, provenienti dall’architettura e da altri riferimenti, che sono stati successivamente analizzati più a fondo per capire cosa poteva esserci utile per definire ulteriormente il concetto. Successivamente ci siamo recati a visitare l’ex Ospedale Psichiatrico di Mombello, sede della riqualificazione che avremmo dovuto attuare: un complesso formato da tre padiglioni con caratteristiche formali e posizioni differenti che hanno stimolato il nostro desiderio di conservarne la storicità e, contemporaneamente, la voglia di creare un luogo nuovo, fatto di condivisione e scambio culturale e generazionale. In particolare, il caso preso in esame è l’edificio che ospita un piccolo albergo, un auditorium e un ristorante.

As a first step has been defined the concept of Innovative Communities. From brainstorming focused on this theme has emerged this definition: "For InnovativeCommunity we mean a different group of individuals linked by three different needs: create a link between past and present, to exchange knowledge between different cultures and create a contact between generations." From this definition have sprung a number of examples, from architecture and other references, which were subsequently analyzed in detail to see what could be useful to further define the concept. Afterwards we went to visit the ex Psychiatric Hospital of Mombello, home of redevelopment that we should implement: a complex of three pavilions with formal characteristics and different locations that have stimulated our desire to preserve its historical authenticity and, simultaneously, the desire to create a new place, made of sharing and cultural exchange and generational. In particular, the case under consideration is the building that houses a small hotel, an auditorium and a restaurant.
