Last year I was entered into the Yorkshire and Humberside regional competition, Match Fit. The competition was held at Scarborough University and we were required to travel there for the event, competitors and I were given roughly two hours to head out onto the sea front to capture just two images that convey the theme of being at the sea side, and just an hour to pick and edit our two shots, out of all the competition I placed seconed with this image and the one below.

Before being allowed to enter the Scarborough competition I had to place top three out of my college, the top three then proceeded. The theme was 'people' and I had to enter two images, I came 1st out of my college with this image as well as the one below it.

I regularly enter competitions on websites like 'Cambridge in Colour' to get feedback on my work so I can keep improving, I placed 1st with this image.
