Child Wise Annual Report 2010-2011
Child Wise Annual Report 2010-2011, Im honored they trusted me the their Annual Report Design. Before I started as usual I did research, I compare their previous design/themes and annual report from other companies. I also been asked to keep it simple and not to use too many colors. Finally I decided that my design aim will be simple but attractive at the same time using several simple design. Because Im not allowed to use too many colors, Im using blue which is Child Wise color. Im implementing another color from the images provided to be arranged in a such a way that the color/image will "shine".
Challenged: The fact that I want to use only blue as the main color is tough, adding images into pages is not as simple as it sounds. I have to spend hours to arranged and rearranged the layout, font size, manually space each paragraph or images. Those kind of stuff if its done right even though sounds like nothing, will work together to add comfort when reading it, which will make a simple yet beautiful design.
Result: It works!! I have been told that they have received a lot of good feedback and the CEO praised the design to be the best they ever had. Soon after this project I featured in "Good Company Story of the Month"
