Do we know what the future will be? We can imagine different scenarios, some of them optimistis, others scary. One thing we can be sure about is the constant progress of technolocy and it's growing impact on our life.
The intention of the project "sample no. 1398188820" was to look into the freedom and privacy on the internet and reflect on it in an exhibition format. It consists of two different types of traces — physical are found and collected objects, that enable unique person identification; and digital. By creating fictive digital service mockups and placing them next to physical traces of a persons' dna I want to raise the awareness about our own digital online traces.
