The idea to explore and reproduce ruined materials came to my mind while walking through Venice industrial harbour where I am used to spending a lot of time. The most of the objects you can find there are deteriorated by time and climate and each surface tells a story.

In this short series I focused on how layers of colour crumble and peel, disclosing how the surface previously was, its appearance and all of the contents it takes with itself, layer by layer.
