This hanging lamp was engineered out of repurposed materials. The base was created from an old plastic tupperware lid and the shade was constructed from damaged venetian blinds. The concept behind blindshine is to show the ability to develop a useful product from objects that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill. I wanted this project to inspire others to take similar approaches with things that normally we would consider to have lost their usefulness.
